Traumatic Brain Injury Lawsuit Filed For Detroit Car Accident

We recently filed a traumatic brain injury lawsuit on behalf of a client injured in a Detroit pedestrian accident.  Our client, a thirty year old mother of two children, was self-employed braiding hair for customers at her home.  On October 20, 2007, she was a pedestrian on northbound on Wyoming in Detroit and was struck by a vehicle that left the roadway.

Our client was transported by EMS to Sinai Grace Hospital where she was admitted for one week.  She suffered numerous severe injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, facial fractures, loss of five front teeth, back pain, neck pain, right side pain, TMJ, headaches, and other injuries.  She has been unable to return to work due to her injuries.  We filed a lawsuit in the Wayne County Circuit Court against the driver seeking compensation for her injuries and also against her no-fault insurance company for payment of lost wages, medical expenses, attendant care services, and other benefits.   No trial date has been set.
