Michigan Brain Injury Lawyers Support the Brain Injury Association of Michigan

On April 11, 2010 at the Dearborn Ritz Carlton, the Brain Injury Association of Michigan held its 12th annual Spring Tribute Legacy Society dinner to support individuals who have suffered brain injuries. The Brain Injury Association of Michigan’s mission is to enhance the lives of those affected by brain injury through education, advocacy, research and local support groups, and to reduce the incidence of brain injury through prevention.

Tickets to the event had to be purchased and all money raised went towards the Association’s many programs that support persons with brain injury and their families. The Southfield law firm, Buckfire and Buckfire, P.C. Michigan brain injury attorneys were proud attendees of this event.

 The event turned out to be a success with over 800 people attending. Deborah L. Newton and Steen Siporin were both recognized for their dedication, leadership and personal commitment to enhancing the quality of life for persons with brain injury and their families.

The dinner was hosted by Lila Lazarus, an award-winning journalist who has anchored the news in Michigan, Maryland, and Massachusetts and the night ended extraordinarily with the very famous best selling author, Mitch Albom as guest speaker.
