The personal injury accident Michigan lawyers of Buckfire & Buckfire announces their launch of the first ever Buckfire & Buckfire Detroit Tigers Tickets Giveaway! The firm will be donating tickets to traumatic brain injury patients to fifteen Tigers games for the 2012 season! They will give two tickets for excellent seats for games in the handicapped section of the lower deck of Comerica Park along with a handicapped parking pass. Ticket donations will be chosen randomly and the winner will be able to enjoy a Detroit Tigers game on the firm!

“Our firm is heavily involved in a large number of important organizations in the community. We think that giving away Tigers tickets in the handicapped accessible section of the ballpark is a great way to lift the spirits of TBI and SCI survivors so they can enjoy the national pastime,” says Firm Partner and Attorney Daniel Buckfire.

Nominations for the tickets will be made by medical providers and nurse case managers who are involved in the care and treatment of the nominee. To view which games will be available for nomination and to nominate an individual, visit http://bit.ly/buckfireticketsgiveaway Nominators can also print the nomination forms from that site and mail them to Tiger Ticket Giveaway, c/o Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C., 25800 Northwestern Hwy, Ste. 890, Southfield, MI 48075.

“We believe that giving back to the community not only enriches our own lives, but makes us better attorneys in handling catastrophic injury claims. We can’t wait to see the excited look of the ticket winners when they open their mail to find two free Tiger tickets and a parking pass. That alone will make the whole thing worthwhile, says Firm Partner and Lawyer Lawrence J. Buckfire.

Our car accident lawyers in Michigan recently filed a first party Michigan No-Fault Insurance lawsuit for an 80 year old client in the Wayne County Circuit Court. The no-fault insurance lawsuit arises out of a 2010 Detroit, Michigan auto accident in which our client suffered severe and permanent injuries, including a closed head injury and orthopedic injuries. Due to her traumatic brain injury, she requires 24 hours of attendant care services.

Attendant Care services commonly include, but are not limited to: preparing meals and feeding; assistance with personal hygiene, such as dressing and bathing; attending to wounds; assistance with medication; providing transportation to and from medical appointments; and supervision and monitoring, etc.

Once it is established that a person requires and is provided attendant care, the insurer is obligated to pay for the attendant care regardless of whether it is being provided by family or friends. The moral obligations of family members to care for one another are completely irrelevant to an insurer’s liability for payment of attendant care provided by family and friends.

An attendant care benefit claim was made to the no-fault insurance company. The insurance company has refused to pay an appropriate attendant care rate for these benefits as required under Michigan law. The lawsuit seeks payment of attendant care benefits provided. The lawsuit also seeks attorney’s fees, costs, and penalty interest for the wrongful denial by the insurance company of these insurance claims.

Michael O’Dell, the driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the crash, however, Smith suffers serious brain injuries, including bleeding and swelling in his brain, as well as facial fractures, broken jaw, clavicle, wrist, and ribs due to the Michigan truck accident.

I am very sorry to hear about this accident. I hope the injured victim have a fast recovery without any permanent damages.

Our Michigan brain injury lawyers advise victims of their legal rights. For this type of semi-truck-car accident, the injured victim may be able to submit a claim for Michigan no-fault insurance benefits. No-fault benefits will cover their medical expenses, lost wages, attendant care, replacement services, and other benefits related to injuries suffered in the accident. The injured victim can submit these benefits even if they did not have a Michigan automobile insurance policy.
